10 Must-Have Free BlackBerry Applications

Blackberry phones have been very popular for a long time now, especially now with their latest Blackberry Javelin 8900, Blackberry Bold, and the Blackberry Storm. I own a Blackberry Curve 8300 and really enjoy it. It features: a full QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, Media Player, etc. After reading an article 10 Must-Have Free BlackBerry Apps, I've downloaded a few of these applications. One of the applications I downloaded was: iSkoot. Not only is iSkoot free, but there's no additional charge for sending and receiving calls to and from non-Skype numbers.

Apple iPhone

The Apple iPhone is one of the many popular cellular device with the latest ideal features. For example, it contains such features like accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, SMS, MMS, Email, a 3.5 " screen, etc. The iPhone is my favourite smartphone because it is a cellphone and iPod all in one.

Python 3.0

Python had their first major upgrade in several years and the release of Version 3.0 of the language. Surprisingly, there are numerous applications created in Python, one being YouTube. In fact, a lot of Google programming is done in Python. One of their "most significant changes include modifications to the workings of built-in-objects, such as dictionaries."

Twilight a vampire/romance novel written by Stephanie Meyer. It is a story of a young girl, Isabella "Bella" Swan, who falls in love with a vampire, Edward Cullen. There are three other novels that follow after Twilight -- New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.

I went to watch the advance screening of Twilight on Thursday, November 20, 2008. As anticipated I was watching it, I was a bit disappointed. The best part was towards the ending of the movie. Although, the beginning was pretty funny, considering everyone in the whole theatre was laughing. But all in all, I do recommend everyone to watch it!
